Fellowship Opportunities

• Walking with Friends

  • Walkers meet at Sangertown Mall (during inclement weather) or at various outdoor locations weekly for walking, conversation, and fellowship.

• Book Club

  • Zion’s Book Club meets throughout the year to read and discuss a book of the group’s choosing.  Expect good conversation, fellowship, and (usually!) snacks.

• Women of Faith

  • Women of Faith offers a variety of opportunities to dive deeper into one’s faith, including Bible studies, speakers, and social gatherings.  Women of Faith is a collaborative effort including Zion Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Church (Herkimer), and Our Saviour Lutheran Church (Utica).  Many programs are held via Zoom.

• Bible Study

  • Bible Study provides an opportunity for fellowship and to expand one’s faith through studying the books and key topics of the Bible.

• Weekly Coffee Hour

  • Each Sunday immediately following the worship service, members and guests are invited to gather in the Fireside Room for coffee, tea, treats, and casual conversation.

• Christmas and Easter

• There are many opportunities for fellowship at Zion Lutheran Church during Christmas and Easter, including Hanging of the Greens at Christmas, Maundy Thursday Lunch, Palm Sunday Brunch, and Easter Sunday Brunch.
