Angel and Mitten Trees

Winter gloves, mittens, hats, and scarfs, as well as monetary donations are generously donated by Zion members during the Christmas season via our Angel and Mitten Trees.   Collected items and gift cards are shared with the Thea Bowman House and The Center to benefit children and families in need.

The Lutheran Home of Central New York (Lutheran Care)

During the Christmas season, members donate a variety of items (candy, toiletries, slippers, books, etc.) to Lutheran Care.  These items are distributed to residents making the Christmas season more joyful, especially for those without family nearby.

Jammies for Christmas 

Zion members collect children’s pajamas that are donated to The House of the Good Shepherd.  Jammies are shared with children in residence at the “House,” making their Christmas much brighter.
